Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Fleckslabs Technology Private Limited ("Fleckslabs", "the Company", "we", "our", or "us") is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We develop and publish video games and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy applies to all of our games, applications, and services, wherever they are made available, including:

Our games available as Facebook Instant Games and on other Meta platforms and surfaces (such as Facebook and Messenger)
Our mobile games and applications distributed through the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and other app stores

This Policy explains what data we collect when you use our games and Services, the specific purposes for which we process that data, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights, including requesting deletion of your data.

By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Services.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Receive from Facebook / Meta (Platform Data)

When you play our games as Facebook Instant Games or log in using your Facebook account, we receive certain information from Meta with your permission, in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and your Facebook settings. This may include:

Your player ID (an app-scoped identifier assigned by Facebook)
Your first name, last name, and/or display name
Your profile picture
Your language/locale settings
A list of your friends who also play our games (to enable social features such as leaderboards and invitations)
The context in which you launched the game (for example, whether it was launched from a group, a message thread, or a post), where applicable

We do not receive your Facebook password. We only request the data permissions necessary to operate the game features described in this Policy.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we and our service providers automatically collect:

Device and connection information, such as device model, operating system and version, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, and advertising identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID / IDFA, where applicable)
Gameplay data, such as game progress, levels completed, scores, achievements, session length, in-game actions, and feature usage
Purchase and transaction data related to in-game purchases (we receive transaction confirmations and entitlement information; payment card details are processed by the relevant platform — e.g., Facebook Payments, Google Play, or the App Store — and are not collected or stored by us)
Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data
Advertising interaction data, such as the ads displayed to you within our games and your interactions with them

2.3 Information You Provide to Us

Information you submit when you contact our customer support (such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message)
Any content you voluntarily provide within our games, such as usernames or feedback

Purposes for Which We Process Your Data

We process the categories of data described above only for the following specific purposes:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use Platform Data received from Meta for any purpose other than those described above, and we process such data in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

How We Share Your Data

We share your data only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in Section 3:

Platform providers: Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, when you play our games on Facebook Instant Games or use Facebook features (for example, to save game progress against your player ID, display leaderboards, or serve ads through Meta Audience Network). Meta's processing of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy
Service providers: Analytics providers, advertising networks, cloud hosting providers, and customer support tools that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality and data protection
Legal and safety: Courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other government authorities where we are legally required to disclose data or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others
Business transfers: If Fleckslabs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy

We do not share Platform Data received from Meta with third parties except as permitted by the Meta Platform Terms and applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in Section 3, including maintaining your game progress while your account remains active. We retain transaction records and other data for longer periods where required by applicable law (for example, tax and accounting laws).

We delete or anonymize personal data when: (a) it is no longer needed for a legitimate business purpose; (b) you request deletion (see Section 6); (c) we stop operating the relevant game or service; or (d) Meta requests deletion of Platform Data in accordance with its terms.

Your Rights and How to Request Deletion of Your Data

Depending on the laws of your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

6.1 Requesting Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time using either of the following methods:

Email us at contact@fleckslabs.com: Send a request from your registered contact details with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including the game name and, if known, your player ID or the name on your Facebook profile
Through Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites on Facebook, locate our game, and remove it. You may also submit a data deletion request through the app removal flow, which is transmitted to us and actioned in accordance with this Policy

We will verify and respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, and in any event within the period required by applicable law. Once processed, your game progress and associated personal data will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.

6.2 Advertising Choices

You can limit personalized advertising through your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android or "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS) and through your Facebook ad preferences.

6.3 Marketing Communications

We will respect your wishes regarding marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our games on Facebook Instant Games are available only to users who hold a Facebook account, which requires users to be at least 13 years of age (or older where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age without verifiable parental consent. Where any of our games are directed at children, we limit data collection to what is strictly necessary to operate the game, do not serve personalized advertising to child users, and comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). If you believe a child has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us at contact@fleckslabs.com and we will promptly delete it.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including access controls, encryption in transit, and secure hosting. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including India, where our servers or service providers are located. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them any personal data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and provide notice through our Services where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
